Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used forms of medicine in the world. Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, acupuncture is currently one of the most thoroughly researched, practiced, and respected forms of complementary medicine available anywhere.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, your overall health is determined by the quality of the Qi (energy) flow through the natural pathways of your body (meridians). Acupuncture uses a variety of techniques, including placing very thin sterile needles into specific points on the body, to stimulate and improve your Qi flow. The many benefits of acupuncture include:

  • Pain reduction
  • Stress and tension relief
  • Increased energy levels
  • Stronger digestion
  • Relief from bad habits and addictions
  • Greater sense of overall health and well-being
  • Improved Sleep
  • Increased Immunity  and allergy relief
  • Relief from Headaches

Chinese herbal medicine is a 2,000 year old tradition using naturally occurring substances — including herbs — to enhance one's health and vitality. As opposed to Western medicine, the foundation of this approach is to support the body's natural self-healing mechanisms and abilities.

Since each patient has different needs, I carefully select and combine a variety of herbs that will synergistically blend together to achieve optimal results for your unique situation. I prescribe high-quality, professional-grade herbal medicines that are available only to qualified licensed professionals.

Chinese herbs are commonly available in granules or pill form and are used to treat a wide range of health concerns, from illness to promoting energy and vitality. When combined with acupuncture, they form a powerful duo that enhances the effects of each treatment, although each can also be effective as a standalone therapy.

Chinese herbs can address various health issues, including, but not limited to:

- GI Health: Supporting digestion and addressing conditions like bloating, constipation, or indigestion.
- Women’s Health: Balancing hormones, alleviating menstrual discomfort, and supporting reproductive health.
- Men’s Health: Enhancing vitality, treating prostate issues, and improving sexual health.
- Illness: Boosting the immune system and helping recover from acute or chronic illnesses.
- Stress and Insomnia: Reducing stress levels, calming the mind, and promoting restful sleep.
- Vitality: Increasing overall energy and combating fatigue.
- Cold and Flu: Strengthening immunity and helping to manage symptoms.
- Respiratory Health: Treating issues such as cough, asthma, and allergies.
- Skin Disorders: Improving skin health and treating conditions like eczema, acne, or psoriasis.
- Pain and Injury: Alleviating pain and supporting recovery from injuries.
- Balance and Energy: Promoting harmony and balance throughout life’s cycles, including aging and lifestyle transitions.
- Musculoskeletal Health: Addressing issues like joint pain, arthritis, and muscle strain.

Chinese herbs are a versatile and natural way to support overall wellness and target specific health concerns.
